the Stage, Anak Malaysia

Anak Malaysia, the highlight program of Kuala Lumpur 2009 which is a musical dance drama that tells the story of a chinese family building their home in Malaysia during early 20th century, a brainchild of renown choreographer - Anthony Meh.

The 360' pano shot above was taken before the last show for the season, with the collaboration from the lighting designer of the show, Raymond Tan.

"Anak Malaysia", a photography exhibition by Helios

Helios, the principal photographer of Heliography was having his solo photography exhibition in conjunction with "Anak Malaysia" the dance drama, at Kuala Lumpur Performance Art Center, from 10th to 12th of July 2009.

6 stories were featured in the photography exhibition which captured during the 2 months preparation of "Anak Malaysia" the dance drama, all the series are planned to be compiled into a documentary that published in year 2010.

The pictures shown is the highlight of the exhibition - a photo montage of all the performer portraitures, which was an attraction to the audience to spot for their friends or relatives that involved in the performance.
